39955200-5d5b-488f-a38b-e63ac71b175dFRIDAY FINDS is originally featured at Should Be Reading and showcases the most interesting books I’ve encountered during the last week and have added to my neverending TBR list on Goodreads. But before I share this week’s finds, first some happy kitty news! The three kittens are six weeks old now and too cute! I’m going to keep the grey one myself… I’m still 671b305d-3c0f-4510-81ce-dcbc49a60817struggling with names, I was thinking of something related to wild animals, but I could only come up with Puma… (Any ideas?) The white one is being adopted by my little niece (and is named Sienna); the one with the grey blob on her head also has a loving home waiting for her already. But for now they still have a few weeks left with their mother. 😀

On to the bookish part of my post… You can find a selection of my newest additions below:

  1. Cute kitties! 🙂 I’m happy to hear they already have homes. The only wild sounding name that came to mind was lion king Simba and Nala, but that’s so been done. Oh, The Night Circus looks really good! Perfect for Halloween next month too! Did you see there’s a goodreads contest for Sudden Light?

    • I’ve thought of the exact same names as well. 😀 Or Richard Parker (Life Of Pi) back when I was still thinking it was a boy… But they all turned out female in the end.

I’m hoping to get a copy of The Night Circus before Halloween so I can read it… And I will definitely check out the contest for A Sudden Light.

    • Thanks! Something of The Lion King was the first I came up with as well… I will have to go search the internet for more ideas. 😉
And I’m looking forward to Burial Rites! Hopefully I can get a copy soon.

  2. The Night Circus has some of the best descriptions I’ve ever read. I wanted so badly to crawl into the scenery as I was reading, and spend a lifetime in the circus myself. It’s so perfect for the longer night ahead. Burial Rites is on my radar for the winter, so I look forward to hearing what you think of it.

Oh and the kittens made me smile. 🙂

    • Thanks! I suck at thinking of names…I wanted something more orginal than Tiger or Stripes, but my mind is only drawing blanks until now.

I’m looking forward to Burial Rites! Hopefully I can get a copy soon.
