Month In Review: November 2014

monthinreviewnov2014

The last month of the year has begun, and with that it is time to wrap up November! I must say that it was a surprise even for me that November turned out to be an excelent reading month, even when I didn’t have that many spare time for reading… It turns out I’ve read 11 books last month (ok, one of them was more a short story, but still), all together with a higher page count than previous months. Yay! I guess the Bookish Bingo Challenge has helped me not only finish more books, but also read different genres and books I normally wouldn’t have read. Not all choices turned out to be winners, but I’m still not complaining since quite a few turned out to be more than excelent!

I had rereads this month as well as two ARC’s on my readinglist. One was send through the Guest Reviewer Program at Ethereal Book Reviews and the other was send by the author (thanks again Casia Schreyer!). Now on to some numbers:

  • Number of books read in November: 11
  • Total number of books read this year: 83
  • Total number of pages read in November: 3.545
  • Total number of pages read this year: 29.366

I’m getting really close to the magical 30.000 pages mark! It will be easy to reach it before the end of the year, especially since I’m determined to finish the Bookish Bingo: Holiday Edition Challenge as well as the Reading Through The Centuries Challenge… As for the books I’ve read; I didn’t make a TBR last month mostly because I already knew I was probably not going to stick to it anyway. I might still do one for December just so I have an easy way of keeping track of the titles I need to finish both challenges on time. Anyway, below you can find a list of the books I’ve read sorted by rating from high to low; two reviews are still pending and will be posted as soon as possible.

  1. Holy Jesus that is an incredible number of books this month, and one of the books was HP#4?! You are on fire girl! Really impressed! How on earth did you find that many hours in the day to read through such a huge number of books? Really impressive! I am normally pleased if I read 5 books within a month!

    • It was probably because most books were ‘easy’ reads that I was able to make that number… Because I didn’t have THAT much spare time either. 😉 HP always has been a weak point for me, and every time I read a book I need to keep reading until I finish. 😉 This December month probably won’t be nearly as good as November though.
