The Bout Of Books 14 read-a-thon will be starting tomorrow (August 17th), so it’s about time I decided which books I’m going to try reading! I’ve decided to pick ten titles so it will be easier to decide what to read next… Of course I’m not pretending I will be actually able to read this amount in a week. 😉
TBR:
- The Martian by Andy Weir (384 pages)
- The Kill Order by James Dashner (327 pages)
- The Death Cure by James Dashner (325 pages)
- None Of The Above by I.W. Gregorio (352 pages)
- Joyland by Stephen King (283 pages)
- Fairest by Marissa Meyer (222 pages)
- I Was Here by Gayle Forman (288 pages)
- Legend (Legend Series #1) by Marie Lu (305 pages)
- My Heart And Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga (302 pages)
- The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins (336 pages)
Are you joining this fun read-a-thon as well? Have you read any of these titles? Let me know below! 😀
I’ve read The Kill Order & The Death Cure, loved both although I don’t think The Kill Order really added anything to the series. Legend is AMAZING!

Good to know! I wasn’t completely convinces by the first two Maze Runner books, but that was mostly because of the slang and characters. Hopefully I will enjoy the last two better! And I have been wanting to read Legend forever; I’m really looking forward to it!

I am about two thirds in The Martian. It is paining me to do other things and not finish it. I warn you: clear 4-5 hours and read it in one go. Otherwise you might be like me – not able to sleep worrying what was going to happen to the main character next! 🙂

You have a lot of good options, so I wish you good luck with your reading! I listened to the BBC Radio production of The Girl on the Train, and it was gripping!

I’m actually reading My Heart and Other Black Holes right now. I am really enjoying it. I also put Death Cure to the side so I can finish the series soon.

I have every single one of these books on my TBR so I can’t wait to here what you think of them!! And yes I believe in you – 10 books in one week!!! Who needs sleep? Or work? Haha!!

Had to do a double take when I saw this massive TBR and thought you’d read this monster of a pile in a week (although I’m sure you could!). I re-watched the trailer for The Martian the other day and though I’d love to read it…I know it’s not going to happen haha. I hope you get a chance at it this coming week!
Cheers,

I don’t think I will be able to read all of them in a week, although I’m going to try and read most of them. I will probably start with The Martian tomorrow! So many people have read and loved this book lately that I can’t wait to read it myself.

There has been such a hype around it that I was afraid to read it… People keep comparing it to Gone Girl and I was disappointed by that one as well. Hopefully the same won’t happen with The Girl On The Train! Happy reading! 🙂
