2016 When Are You Reading? Challenge

when-are-you-reading-2016-final

I loved participating in the When Are You Reading? challenge last year, so when I found out Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words was hosting a new edition in 2016 I just knew I had to join immediately. It’s basically a challenge where you have to read books either set or published in twelve different time periods… The perfect way of reading books of different eras! Make sure to check out Sam’s post and sign up if you are interested!

I will divide my reads into two categories like last year: books by publish date and books by setting. When the setting is not specified or is roughly the same as the publish date, I will use this color.

Month In Review: December 2015

monthinreviewdec2015

I still can’t believe it’s 2016! Time has flown away and it’s time for a new year and new challenges and goals… But first I’m going to check my progress for the December month. I already knew it was going to be a busy month with the Holiday season and all, and it shows in the numbers below. I managed to finish a total of 13 books, which isn’t too bad but they were quite short reads… Between Holiday preparations and cooking I just didn’t have that much spare time last month. Still, in 2015 I have managed to reach an amount of books and pages read I never thought would be possible, so I’m by no means complaining! 😉

  • Number of books read in December: 13
  • Total number of books read this year: 185
  • Total number of pages read in December: 3.734
  • Total number of pages read this year: 61.483

I’m terribly behind with my reviews with no less than five out of thirteen still pending… The Holiday season was truly busy. Hopefully I will be able to catch up soon! December wasn’t the best month with a few mediocre or even bad reads… Hopefully January will be better!
