I still can’t believe it’s 2016! Time has flown away and it’s time for a new year and new challenges and goals… But first I’m going to check my progress for the December month. I already knew it was going to be a busy month with the Holiday season and all, and it shows in the numbers below. I managed to finish a total of 13 books, which isn’t too bad but they were quite short reads… Between Holiday preparations and cooking I just didn’t have that much spare time last month. Still, in 2015 I have managed to reach an amount of books and pages read I never thought would be possible, so I’m by no means complaining! 😉
- Number of books read in December:Â 13
- Total number of books read this year:Â 185
- Total number of pages read in December:Â 3.734
- Total number of pages read this year:Â 61.483
I’m terribly behind with my reviews with no less than five out of thirteen still pending… The Holiday season was truly busy. Hopefully I will be able to catch up soon! December wasn’t the best month with a few mediocre or even bad reads… Hopefully January will be better!

2.5 STARS: I give this one the benefit of the doubt. Nothing too exciting.Â

1.5 STARS: The story wasn’t horrible, but there still isn’t another word to describe it but ‘bad’.
Takeover – by Lisa Black // Rough Roads With Reckless Drivers – by Lara Pass
Time for a final look into my 2015 challenges… I actually managed to finish almost every challenge! The only one I wasn’t able to fully complete was the Bookish Bingo 2015 challenge, with ONE pending square (book published in the last month) to fill in order to have a full bingo. So close!

With that number of books read I’m not surprised you are behind with the reviews. It must be a full time job keeping up with them

I normally keep up quite easily because I keep my reviews short, but last month the Holidays took up a lot of my time.

Awesome reading month! 🙂
That’s really cool that you read 185 books in the year.
I can’t wait to get my hands on Paperweight. Hopefully soon.

I don’t think I will ever reach that 185 number again… 😉 Paperweight is a very interesting read; definitely worth buying/reading.

Great month! Still makes me ridiculously happy to see you loved November 9. I know that sounds nerdy, but she’s my favorite and I love when my book friends enjoy one of her books. 🙂
