I have WAY too many books waiting for me on my TBR shelf, so I have been making a monthly TBR to help me decide. Last month I was able to finish 5 out of 8 books on my TBR and I have finished The Sin Eater’s Daugher since as well (currently working on Neverwhere). So I guess I could call my December 2015 TBR a success…
On to my January TBR! A new year and new books to read… Some of these titles are on my Bout Of Books 15 TBR already, but there are some new titles as well. Here we go!
>>> Find a complete list of the books of books owned and waiting to be read here and my full TBR list at Goodreads here <<<

Hi there! These are great selections! I have read Everything I Never Told You! It is short yet it is moving in a way, too. And yes, I would recommend it. 🙂

I haven’t tried Bout of Books ever, because I am a slow reader! 😀

Great TBR! I can’t wait to see what you think of Never Always Sometimes. I started to read it in 2015, but then got bored and put it aside. I still want to give it another chance eventually.

I’ve heard other people not really enjoying Never Always Sometimes so I will start reading with low expectations… Hopefully it doesn’t disappoint too much.

So excited for you to read Illuminae! I 100% loved that book. Dark Places was pretty good, not my favorite Gillian Flynn but it was still very entertaining and thrilling.

I’m SO excited to be starting Illuminae soon! I’ve only heard great things about it. And we’ll see how things go with Dark Places; I wasn’t blown away with Gone Girl but her writing style definitely isn’t boring.

Sharp Objects was my favorite of the 3 Gillian Flynn books. Dark Places was probably my least favorite.

The only one I’ve read is Dark Places. That author has a sick and twisted mind for sure! I really want to read Illuminae – can’t wait to see what you think!

I wasn’t fully convinced by Gone Girl, but there is no doubt her prose and plot twists are entertaining. Illuminae sounds so good!

These kinds of lists never work for me but they seem to for you!

I never stick to them completely, but they always help me decide what to read next.

I plan to read the first 3 Raven Boy books closer to the last books release. I love Maggie’s writing style and enjoyed her Shiver Series. I need to make a list like this but I would never be able to stick to it as I am a mood reader.

I might spread the sequels out so the wait for the last book won’t be too long… I actually preferred The Raven Cycle over Wolves Of Mercy Falls, so hopefully you will enjoy it even better. 🙂
