I have WAY too many books waiting for me on my TBR shelf, so I started making a monthly TBR to help me decide. Last month wasn’t my best month for sticking with my monthly TBR and I only managed to read 4 out of 10 titles. I’ve started reading Daughter Of Smoke And Bone recently though, so I guess that would make it at least an almost 50% success… And reason enough to try it again this month.
I’ve decided to put on hold the unread books on my April TBR since apparently I haven’t been in the mood to read them. Instead I’ve picked ten fresh ones… May will be a mix of fantasy reads and books belonging to different genres I have been wanting to read for a while including a classic and a Spanish read. Hopefully I will be able to read at least half of these by the end of the month!

Have you read any of these and/or do you recommend them?
I haven’t read any of those, but they look promising. I’m really interested in A Study In Charlotte. I heard good things about it. I almost got confused with Tom Bale’s See How They Run. Had to Goodread yours to see it was a different one.
I absolutely did not stick to my April TBR, I read 0 book from my list, oops!

I’ve heard good things about A Study In Charlotte as well; hopefully it’s just as good as people are saying. And you’re not the first to be confused by the See How They Run title! It’s not that common, so it’s definitely understandable. And good to know I wasn’t only one that failed the April TBR. 😉

I’ve read The Shadow of the Wind years ago. It was a good book but I don’t remember much of it now I’m afraid. I also have Love Letters To The Dead and All The Rage on my TBR-list. I think See How They Run by Ally Carter might also be something for me, I’ll keep an eye out for your review.

It’s been too long since I last read The Shadow Of The Wind as well, that’s why I’m picking up the original version again… I’ve been wanting to read more Spanish books anyway, so it’s kind of a bonus. 😉 I’ve heard mixed things about Love Letters To The Dead, but All The Rage sounds interesting enough so hopefully they turn out to be good…. And the first Embassy Row book All Fall Down was really entertaining, so I’m hoping the sequel See How They Run will be good as well! The first book is definitely worth reading; it’s sort of an international YA spy story with a dash of romance.

Good to hear you are loving The Dream Thieves! I can’t wait to continue reading this series, especially since I’ve heard the sequels seem to be better than the first book.

I love the Talon series so much. I really hope you enjoy Talon! I bought All the Rage when it was released and still haven’t gotten around to reading it. I really hope to read A Study in Charlotte asap! I meant to in April, but that ended up not happening. GOOD LUCK with your TBR! 😀

I can’t wait to finally read Talon! I love stories with dragons so there shouldn’t be a problem. 😉 I’ve had All The Rage on my shelves for a long time as well… Hopefully it’s good, although I’m more excited to be reading A Study In Charlotte. I’ve heard it’s really good! Good luck with your TBR as well! 😀

I haven’t read any of these books. I have only read one book by Carlos Ruiz, The Shadow of the Wind. Which language is the one you have written in?What does it say? All the bets with your May TBR.Happy reading.

La Sombra Del Viento is the original Spanish version of The Shadow Of The Wind… I’ve been wanting to read more Spanish books, so his series will be the perfect excuse to do just so. 🙂 Happy reading!

Oh wow, that is great. Enjoy the book. I imagine that it may be even better in Spanish because that was the original language it was written in, yes? Happy reading.

Yes, it was originally written in Spanish… I’ve actually read this book in three different languages since it came out and I still love it every time I pick it up again.
