This post has nothing to do with books and is mostly sad… Unfortunately my lovely cat Sienna passed away in the morning of May 4th. 😥 My poor baby was hit by a car close to home and just left there… I’m still praying she didn’t suffer much. She was still so young, not even two years old and the daugher of my other cat Jasmin… Boy do I hate having to say goodbye to a pet this way. 😦
Bye bye kitty cat and RIP. Know you were loved… ❤

So very, very sorry to hear this. What a beautiful animal. I share your pain, as I had the same experience. Know that the kitty certainly felt your love for her while she shared her life with you. Tough to say good-bye.

I’m sorry for your loss, I lost my Dog in February and losing a pet is such a tragedy as there such a big part of your life and are family not just ‘animals’. 😦

Thank you and I’m sorry for your loss. Even though some people might not get it, I see my pets as part of my family as well and it’s terrible to lose one of them. I’m ‘lucky’ enough to still have my other cat and my dog to comfort me, but it’s not the same…

So sorry you had to deal with this. Saying goodbye to a pet is the worst, but even more so when it happens under these circumstances. My housemate went through an almost identical experience a couple of years ago. I was upset, too, but it was her cat and it really was her baby. *sending hugs and good vibes*

I can totally agree with that; having to say goodbye to a pet is terrible enough, but what really broke my heart is that someone hit her with a car and just left her there… Nobody should be made to go through a situation like that. 😦 What some people don’t understand is that pets are truly part of the family…

Awwe 😦 I’m already tearing up from looking at those pictures, and you’re the one who has to deal with her loss in real life. I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m always hoping my cat will turn 20, but he’s 8 years old now and has been sick for the majority of his life, so, happy thoughts!!

I couldn’t even look at pictures for too long yesterday… I shouldn’t be having favorites, but out of my three pets she was the one I was closest to… I’ve had her since she was born (my other cat is her mother), and she passed away way too soon. 😦 Hopefully your cat will stick around for many years to come though!

It’s truly one of the worst feelings, especially since she was still so young… My other cat (her mother) has been searching for her for the last two days; it’s heartbreaking. 😦

That’s so sad 😦 and heartbreaking having to see her mom searching for her. Sometimes if my dog is gone for too long (like if the fiancé takes him overnight somewhere), my cat will always look for him and cry because they are really close.

Awww that’s so adorable! Her mother wasn’t even that close to her (Jasmin is a true ‘outdoor’ cat and Sienna preferred staying inside mostly), but it really shows that she is missing Sienna…
