- WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
Basically, I haven’t been having a lot of free time to read, so I’m still reading A Study In Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro even though I really enjoy the story so far. I’m hoping to finish it today though! I also have The Opposite Of Loneliness by Marina Keegan and A Court Of Mist And Fury by Sarah J. Maas on my currently reading list, although the process with both books is so minimum that I can’t say anything constructive yet.
- WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?
Wait, only one book finished since last week?! I don’t think this has happened in a long time… I definitely wasn’t lying when I said I didn’t have a lot of time to read. 😦 I finished More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera though, which took me ages to read because I didn’t really enjoy the first part of the book. I actually thought about DNFing at one point, but I’m glad I continued reading because the last part of the book was really good.
- WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT?
I still have the following ARC pending:The Munich Girl by Phyllis Edgerly Ring. I love historical fiction set during WWII, so I’m looking forward to start reading it as soon as I finish my current reads. And since I don’t have a lot of time to read I decided to put some ‘easy’ and entertaining looking reads next; I’ve heard great things about both Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum and The Ex by Alafair Burke, so I can’t wait to read them myself. My newest TBR jar pick is The Hired Girl by Laura Amy Schlitz, which works out perfectly because it’s a historical fiction read set in the 1910s, which is one of the periods I still needed for the When Are You Reading? challenge.
I’ve seen very mixed review of A Study in Charlotte which put me off. But if you like it then it’ll have to go on the list 😉
Can’t wait to see what you make of ACOMAF! It’s enraged some ACOTAR fans…

I still have to finish it, but so far A Study In Charlotte is definitely entertaining! I love the constant bickering between the two main characters; it really shows they were based on the original Holmes and Watson.
I need to continue ACOMAF ASAP! I’ve only read a few pages because I want to finish A Study In Charlotte first, but I don’t think I can resist much longer. 😉

I have been avoiding any post mentioning ACOMAF so I won’t come across any spoilers, but I definitely can’t wait to finally continue it so I can compare thoughts. I’m having a feeling there will be some annoying romance scenes/love triangle involved though.

My suspicions are only based on the first book, so I’m still hoping I’m completely wrong about the love triangle. Fingers crossed! 😉

I like the sound of all of your next reads as am quite partial to a WW2 book. You might like to try Life after Life by Kate Atkinson.

I have been wanting to read more historical fiction, so I’m really looking forward to The Munich Girl. And I actually have had Life After Life on my wishlist for a long time already, although I never managed to get a copy so far… It sounds really good though, so I will definitely be on the lookout now.

I still need to get to A Study in Charlotte. I never got around to it 😦 Maybe I’ll have some time this month. I also really want to read More Happy Than Not. It was one of my most anticipated releases last year and I never got around to reading it, oops! 😛

It took me a long time to read More Happy Than Not as well even though I really wanted to read it, but if I have to pick one of the two I would definitely recommend reading A Study In Charlotte first even though I haven’t finished it yet. It’s really good!

I really need to get around to reading ACOTAR so I can read the sequel haha It seems like just about everyone who has read ACOMAF loves it even more than ACOTAR and it has me really wanting to read it. I also really want to read More Happy Than Not. It seems like a good read. I’ll be interested to see what you think of The Munich Girl and The Hired Girl as well. I haven’t heard of either one but I love historical fiction. 🙂

I can’t wait to continue with ACOMAF to see what happens next; I really loved the first book and I’m hoping the sequel will be just as good. More Happy Than Not had a really slow start, but the last part was really interesting though. And I’m really looking forward to my historical fiction reads! I have been neglecting the genre way too much even though it’s one of my favorites.

I’m hoping things will slow down as soon as I have everything organized for my trip in August… Because I’m already missing my books. 😉 I still have to finish A Study In Charlotte, but I’m sure the ending won’t be changing my opinion about the book; it’s such a great Sherlock Holmes retelling! 😀

I finally finished A Study In Charlotte today, so I’m going to continue with The Opposite Of Loneliness next. So far it’s a really interesting read!

I really enjoyed The Ex, my only complaint being I found out about the truth sooner than I’d hoped for. I have another book from the same author that I can’t wait to start. There have been good reviews on Tell Me Three Things, I’d love to hear your thoughts on it before deciding to add it to my wishlist. I’m trying to stop adding every book that sounds nice because I don’t want to buy all of Amazon’s stock, haha!

Good to hear you enjoyed The Ex! Both that one and Tell Me Three Things have been recommended to me, so I hope they are just as good as I’ve been promised. 😉 I’ve heard mixed things about the second one though, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed the story won’t be too cheesy. And I definitely understand not wanting to add every single book to your wishlist haha. Mine is so long I don’t even know where to start anymore. 😉 It’s either ignoring the list or finding a money tree if I want to buy them all haha.

Sarah J Maas seems quite popular. I have seen her books mentioned by several bloggers. Not a genre that I usually go for for I am intrigued. The Ex sounds quite interesting. Enjoy your upcoming reads and I hope you get some more reading time. Happy reading 🙂

I really enjoyed both Sarah J. Maas series so far, although I didn’t like the first Throne Of Glass book as much as the rest of the series. ACOTAR is still my favorite because there is no love triangle and I love stories about fae, but I’m afraid the first will change in the sequel. (Although I still hope I’m wrong)
I’m hoping to start The Ex soon! I’ve heard great things about it. Happy reading!
