TEASER TUESDAYS is a weekly book meme originally featured at Books And A Beat. To participate, just open the book you are currently reading to a random page, and choose two ‘teaser’ sentences from somewhere on that page. (no spoilers!)
I’m currently reading the Jamie Quinn Mystery Collection by Barbara Venkataraman. It’s a box set of three cozy mystery stories and so far it’s without doubt an entertaining read. Hopefully I can find time later today so I can finish it.
My teaser (9%):
“I couldn’t tell her the truth, but she’d find out soon enough. It wasn’t over. It was just getting started…”
What are you reading right now?
Ooh sounds like an interesting read and I love that teaser. I’ve been in a bit of a romance mood recently but I think I really need to get back to some good old fashioned crime and murder 🙂

I’ve finished the first story and it’s definitely a very entertaining cozy mystery with a legal twist. Definitely a read pick if you want to switch genres a bit. 🙂

So, reading Broken Monsters, I think I need one straightforward mystery novel before I plow once more in cuckoo land.

Are you enjoying these so far? I feel like you read a lot of great mystery/thrillers. I’ve added a bunch to my TBR from your teasers!

So far it’s definitely an entertaining cozy mystery. Hopefully the second and third book of the collection will be good as well. And I have been reading a lot of mystery/thrillers since July! Partly because I requested a lot of them at Netgalley, but I’m definitely starting to miss the other genres…

I read the first of the three and keep forgetting to continue with the others! I’ll get to them sooner or later 🙂

The second and third are just as entertaining as the first book, so if you enjoyed that one you will probably like them as well. 🙂
