Part five of my best of 2016 series already, and this time it’s all about YA. I tend to read a lot of Young Adult books of a variety of genres, and these five below were among the best. (And yes, I’m aware some of the books I have already mentioned in previous TOP 5 lists are YA as well…)
5. Every Last Word (4,5 stars) by Tamara Ireland Stone
4. Extraordinary Means (4,5 stars) by Robyn Schneider
3. The Art Of Being Normal (4,5 stars) by Lisa Williamson
2. Tell Me Three Things (4,5 stars) by Julie Buxbaum
1. The Conspiracy Of Us series by Maggie Hall: The Conspiracy Of Us (5 stars) and Map Of Fates (4,5 stars)
Have you read any of these titles yourself? What were your favorite YA reads of 2016? Feel free to comment! 🙂
I’ve read The Art of Being Normal and met the author at Cambridge Literary Festival. 🙂

That’s so great! I wish I could meet authors, but I guess living in Argentina does have its disadvantages…

I haven’t read any of these. But they all look rather good. Most of the YA I read is fantasy, not contemporary. Perhaps it’s time I broaden my horizons 🙂

I prefer mostly YA fantasy as well, but these are without doubt great exceptions.
