  1. I am really interested in Karin Slaughter’s book. I like the fact that its standalone. I read her book, Kept Woman and it was really good but it was part of a series that already had 5 books so I haven’t picked any other books by her again.

All these books sound great though. Happy reading Yvo and enjoy the weekend.

    • Yeah it’s probably why I haven’t picked up her stories more often either… It’s one of the reasons I like stand-alones as well; at least I don’t have to worry about catching up later on or reading tons of books to get to the latest one. 😉 Happy reading and have a great weekend!

    • It’s been so long since I read one of her books that it will almost be like my first again! I’m definitely waiting impatiently for the publish date so I can get a copy. I hope you will enjoy them!

  2. The Good Daughter!!!! I really hope to be able to read that one soon. I haven’t read her other book, the one that made her super famous, but I would definitely love to start with this one just so I won’t have all them “expectations” that fans probably have right now hahah!

    • That’s definitely very true! It’s been years since I last read one of her books, so I guess that will be just about the same thing when it comes to reading expectations. Fame and hype can sometimes really ruin a reading experience!
