TEASER TUESDAYS is a weekly book meme hosted at The Purple Booker. To participate, just open the book you are currently reading to a random page, and choose two ‘teaser’ sentences from somewhere on that page. (no spoilers!)
I’m currently reading one of my last pending ARCs The Rules Of Magic by Alice Hoffman. It’s still early days, so I don’t have much to say about it… I confess I didn’t read Practical Magic, so we’ll see how things go I guess. Also, one of the reasons I’m not that far into it yet is that I caught the crochet bug and I’m starting to become seriously addicted to it. 😀
My teaser (2%):
“Yet no matter how Susanna tried to enforce these rules, the children continued to thwart her. They insisted upon being unusual.”
What are you reading right now?

Oooh! I would love to do crochet one of these days!

I’m totally addicted to it right now! Still learning the different stitches but it’s going faster than I thought it would. 😀

I’m also midway through Rules of Magic but my ARC had sooo many warnings I was too scared to share a teaser. How are you finding it? I’m about 30% and struggling.

I somehow completely missed those warnings. xD I always share teasers as form of book promotion and this teaser seems pretty harmless; oh well… I’m only a couple of pages into it so far, so nothing much to say about it yet other than the fact I’m finding my newly learned crochet skills and project a whole lot more interesting than this story. 😉

I’m looking forward to continue it soon! Learning how to crochet has been taking up my time during the last three days. xD

You’ll have to get into audiobooks and then you listen whilst crocheting! 😁

Ah yes that would definitely help! I tried a few times but didn’t like the voice of the narrator… I should really give audiobooks another go though.

It’s very unsatisfying when I don’t like the narrator.
