I saw this book meme posted by Jenn @ Bound To Writing and I couldn’t resist joining the fun. This book meme was originally started by Lynne @ Fictionophile and I thought it would be a great way to shine a light upon some of the books still pending on my TBR list.
THE RULES:
1. Spell out your blog’s name. (this is where you wish your blog’s name was shorter LOL)
2. Find a book from your TBR that begins with each letter. (Note you cannot ADD to your TBR to complete this challenge – the books must already be on your Goodread’s TBR)
3. Have fun!
I was actually surprised it was relatively easy to find books for my blog name… Partly because my TBR list on Goodreads is HUGE, and partly because It’s All About Books doesn’t have any tricky letters. (Phew! 😉 ) Let’s go see which books I’ve chosen to write my blog name with…
I : I Let You Go – by Clare Mackintosh
T : Talon – by Julie Kagawa
S : Saint Anything – by Sarah Dessen
A : A Tale For The Time Being – by Ruth Ozeki
L : Lair Of Dreams – by Libba Bray
L : Library Of Souls – by Ransom Riggs
A : An Ember In The Ashes – by Sabaa Tahir
B : Britt-Marie Was Here – by Fredrik Backman
O : Outlander – by Diana Gabaldon
U : Uprooted – by Naomi Novik
T : Tell The Wolves I’m Home – by Carol Rifka Brunt
B : Blue Blood – by Sara Blaedel
O : Outrun The Moon – by Stacey Lee
O : One Of Us – by Asne Seierstad
K : Kids Of Appetite – by David Arnold
S : Splintered – by A.G. Howard
Have you read any of these titles yourself? Would you recommend them? Any of these titles I should avoid reading? Feel free to comment. 🙂

I’ve heard good things about the Talon series, hopefully you enjoy it.

The only reason I managed is because my goodreads wishlist is enormous. 😉

This tag is so much fun! It is quite surprising how easy it is to find books.

Yeah I thought it was going to be more complicated… The advantage of not having difficult letters in my blog name I guess. xD

Great tag. Haven’t watched any of these but I am curious about I Let You Go. I have heard that it is so good.

Oh how fun! I JUST read An Ember In The Ashes (and the second book) last month and LOVED every minute. I have a feeling you will love the series too. I actually met the author when she was on her book tour last month and from what she mentioned it seems like book 3 is going to be even more epic!
I read the Outlander series back in 2009. They are AMAZING, BUT be ready for a big commitment. Each book is massive. I’ve actually not read the most recent book that came out in 2015 because 6 years had gone by and I couldn’t remember all that had happened. I really need to read a series recap and read it…

That’s excellent news! I’ve been meaning to pick up An Ember In The Ashes for a long time now, so now I’ll be looking forward to it even more. It’s so wonderful you were able to meet the author!
And part of the reason I haven’t picked up Outlander yet is that the book and series are just too intimidating… I do mean to read them one day, especially since I’m curious about the TV series as well.

i love the talon saga so much! i still need to read library of souls. it’s been so long since i’ve read the other books, so i just keep putting it off. i don’t even think i remember everything that happened.

I so need to read Talon soon! I still can’t believe I haven’t yet. And I never continued with the Miss Peregrine sequels mostly because when I did plan to earlier this year I found out there is going to be a fourth book… So I’m waiting until that one is out to continue, because I’ve only the movie facts to kind of remember what it was about in the first place. 😉

I’ll probably wait for the fourth book too. I may try to check out the audiobooks for the first two books from my library, so i can reread them that way. Or rewatch the movie LOL.

Audiobooks are a great option! As I only have to ‘reread’ the first book, I might just cheat and watch the movie instead haha.
