Stacking The Shelves is hosted at Tynga’s Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Forgive me, because I’ve been bad. xD Let’s see the damage below, shall we?

Bookouture has done it again and made me disregard my promise to stop requesting new Netgalley titles completely. I admit there were even more I wanted to request, but I kept it at three. So I guess it could have been worse? xD I was stoked to see all three below approved… The third Detective Anna Gwynne book (Before She Falls) I’ve been looking forward to because I really like her personality and the cold case angle of the series. Of course I couldn’t resist a new Shalini Boland either… And while the third title might seem to be some mistake (me, reading a contemporary romance, and a Christmas themed one at that???), I liked the blurb and wanted to read something completely different than the usual. Here’s me going out of my comfort zone!

The fourth title I just couldn’t resist, because it both promised a setting in Spain and references to the Franco era. As a Spanish philologist, how can I say no to that?! Plus, I’m always trying to read more international authors/ translations, so technically I’m just following that goal right? 😉 The last one I couldn’t resist because I love gardening and have a few of the plants mentioned in my garden as well… I always love finding out little tricks to take better care of them.
