May #bookhaul

It’s time for my May bookhaul! I definitely ended up getting more books than expected in May… Including not one, but two Instagram giveaways I still can’t believe I actually won. ❤ Thanks to @excusemyreading and @canongatebooks I’m now the proud owner of a gorgeous hardback copy of Things in Jars… And wonderful @ashesbooksandbobs sent me not one, but TWO of my favorite Amy Harmon books along with some goodies. ❤

The rest are a mix of older preorders and a new order that arrived just in time for this post… I’m still waiting on my preorder of The Passengers, which will probably arrive in the next few days as well. A full list of all 9 books with details below!

1. The Outsider by Stephen King. I had this one on preorder and I’m definitely excited to read it… The orange cover came as a surprise though. xD

2. The Leavers by Lisa Ko. I’ve been meaning to read this story for quite some time now, and I couldn’t resist getting a physical copy when I saw it was on offer.

3. The Lost Man by Jane Harper. Another preorder that finally arrived and one I can’t wait to read, although I’m still not sure whether to pick up this one first or read Force Of Nature.

4. Call Me Star Girl by Louise Beech. Another preorder I was so so excited about and which turned out to be an absolutely fantastic read. Want to know why? Feel free to check out my 5 star review.

5. Rage Against The Dying by Becky Masterman. This was an impulse buy as I liked the sound of the story and I needed more pink books. I didn’t know the spine wouldn’t be pink though. xD

6. Red Winter by Dan Smith. Another impulse buy as I loved the sound of the Russian setting and blurb.

7. What The Wind Knows by Amy Harmon. One of my 2019 favorites and an absolutely fantastic read. Feel free to check out my 5 star review if you want to know more.

8. Making Faces by Amy Harmon. Another all time favorite I’m really happy to have on my shelves… I love Amy Harmon’s books! ❤ Feel free to check out my 5 star review if you want to know more.

9. Things In Jars by Jess Kidd. I’m so excited to have this gorgeous copy on my shelves! The blurb sounds SO good and the naked spine is so shiny and pretty. ❤ I can’t wait to read it.

Have you read any of these? Any title of the remaining six unread titles I should give priority to?
