I’ve been doing really well staying away from Netgalley (last book I requested was over a month ago!), and I’ve now officially made it to my goal of having 5 or less pending NG ARCs!! It’s been a long long time since I last saw that number haha. Also, I just realized I’m only one more approved title away from hitting 300! titles on my account. o.O
More exciting news, because after years of never winning giveaways, I’ve now somehow won my third giveway in less than two months! I can’t believe my luck haha. Wow at your NG Numbers! I’m in awe of you getting to 98% ratio and only having five unread books on there. I’m trying really hard to improve my ratio (it’s around 84% at the mo) but keep requesting more. I need to learn from you and just resist until I’ve caught up. Trust me, it took me a long time to get here… Almost a year if I remember correctly, although I’ve been above 80% for a lot longer. I guess the fact that as an international blogger more and more titles are simply not available anymore is actually useful in a way… At least it’s easier to not request a lot of new titles all the time. 😉 Bookouture is going to ruin it though as they have multiple titles coming out I can’t resist and I know I will get them straight away as soon as they appear haha.

It does right? The pressure is definitely a lot less now I only have a few titles left and no immediate deadline closeby… I’m so excited about The Willow Woman! The premise sounds fantastic.
