August 2019 TBR

Time is flying by so fast and we’re already starting month number eight of 2019… My July TBR went well enough, although I did end up getting a couple more ARCs and read other titles on a whim, with the result I didn’t manage to read all of the titles on my monthly TBR. The Willow Woman is up soon though, but Force Of Nature will have to wait until a later date…

August is Magical Readathon N.E.W.T.s month which means I’ll basically be reading the books on my N.E.W.T.s TBR, although I did switch titles for some of the prompts. Below I’ll mention the ten titles I’ll be giving a priority to…

# TBR #

  • Apple Of My Eye by Claire Allan (400 pages)
  • The Sleepover by Carol Wyer (285 pages) NETGALLEY
  • An Unwanted Guest by Shari Lapena (304 pages)
  • The Archived by Victoria Schwab (321 pages)
  • The Passengers by John Marrs (416 pages)

  • Keeper by Johana Gustawsson (300 pages)
  • The Hiding Place by C.J. Tudor (288 pages)
  • 29 Seconds by T.M Logan (368 pages) NETGALLEY
  • The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater (439 pages)
  • Smoke In The Sun by Renee Ahdieh (416 pages)

Have you read any of these and/or do you recommend them?

    • I’m really excited about Apple Of My Eye (I believe it was your review that made me get a copy) and I can’t can’t wait to read Keeper! The only reason I haven’t started it yet is that I’m still lost for words for my Block 46 review… I LOVE how she mixes historical fiction with crime (two of my favorite genres) and she even picked my favorite historical settings at that! (WWII; Jack The Ripper, Spanish Civil War; it can’t get better than that for me ❤ )
Fingers crossed we'll both enjoy The Passengers! Have a wonderful August. xx
