After seeing Nicki @ Secret Library doing this meme lots of times, I decided to step up my game in 2019 and finally join the fun again. This meme is hosted by Kerry @ Chat About Books and is all about sharing my reviews from previous years.
Since I tend to read 10+ books per month on average, I’ve decided to only share my top reads for each year (2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018). This means either a 4,5 star or 5 star rating depending on which was the highest rating that year (if there are not that many titles, I’ll share the books of both ratings).
Let’s go to my reviews, shall we?
SEPTEMBER 2018
5 STARS: Absolutely and entirely mind blowing! I suggest you to pick up a copy now.
The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo – by Taylor Jenkins Reid
4.5 STARS: This one was almost perfect. Surely fantastic!
Father Christmas And Me – by Matt Haig // Gone To Ground – by Rachel Amphlett // City Of Ghosts – by Victoria Schwab // Radiance Of Tomorrow – by Ishmael Beah // The Wife’s Secret – by Kerry Wilkinson
SEPTEMBER 2017

SEPTEMBER 2016

The Honor Was Mine – by Elizabeth Heaney
SEPTEMBER 2015

I love this meme! Such a great way to reflect back on favorites from the past years.
Of course I’ve read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and LOVE LOVE LOVED it! I’ve also read Daisy Jones – loved it too, but in a different way – and After I Do – which is a solid contemporary that would be perfect for book clubs!
I read This Savage Song, but it was not my favorite… I prefer Schwab’s adult books.

It’s one of the reasons I can’t resist joining this meme. 😉 I’m really considering doing a reread of Evelyn Hugo in the future… It’s without doubt one of my all time favorites. I still have to read After I Do though, but it’s on my wishlist. 🙂
