So… Bookish September. Things definitely went way better than last month, and I managed to read almost all titles on my September TBR. I guess the fact that the majority were pending ARCs did help… But still, I’m more than happy with this result.

October has arrived, which means it’s both Orentober and Halloween month! I still have quite a lot of ARCs to catch up with, but as most of them are darker reads anyway I guess they fit the Halloween month pretty well. 😉 The rest of the titles on my TBR this month are either for Orentober or other creepy/fantasy titles I’ve been meaning to read for a while now.

So many books on your October TBR! It works out so well though that your ARCs line up perfectly for the season. Maria in the Moon sounds amazing as well. Enjoy your October!

I guess the fact that I mainly request thrillers did play in my favor this time around. xD Have a great October!

I love that even the covers of all those books feel Fall-ish! I hope you have as much success with your TBR as you did last month!

Haha you are right, they do seem to fit the Fall season better than the Spring we’re having down here right now. xD

I can’t wait to finally read the trilogy! I’ve been meaning to for years now… I might even binge-read all three books depending on how I react to the first one.

I started watching The Alchemist show when it was initially released, but it was a bit too dark for me. I’m curious if the book is even darker. But the plot is interesting. I’m curious to hear your thoughts on it.

I actually bought a copy of The Alienist because I loved the TV show! I didn’t realize it was based on a book when I started watching, because I normally always try to read the book first… I agree the TV show is quite dark though, and I’m definitely curious to see how close they stayed to the original story.
