How on earth is it October already?! Seriously, how is it even possible that we only have three months left of this year?! The Holidays seem just around the corner already and I just can’t wrap my head around it… That said, I’m glad that the Spring season is finally here, and I’ve been busy organizing the garden and prepping things for our vegetable plot. And more news: we are now officially the owners of our own little plot in the countryside! We’ll be slowly building our new home from scratch in the next few years, looking forward to a whole new countryside lifestyle once it is finished. In the meantime, there will be lots of prepping, cleaning and gardening going on. 😉
Next: the bookish numbers.
- Number of books read in September: 18
- Total number of books read in 2020: 183
- Total number of pages read in September: 6.901
- Total number of pages read in 2020: 62.163
I’m finally back on track with my reading numbers again… I’m definitely happy I was able to read this much with all the spring prep in the garden going on as well as a new big crochet project. The blogging slump is still there, but at least the reading slump seems to be beaten completely so that’s something. xD I managed to get no less than THREE new 5 star ratings, and only three were 3 stars or below, so I’m definitely happy with my reading choices too.
SEPTEMBER 2020 READS
5 STARS: Absolutely and entirely mind blowing! I suggest you to pick up a copy now.
The Curator – by M.W. Craven // The Minders – by John Marrs // Heart Bones – by Colleen Hoover
4.5 STARS: This one was almost perfect. Surely fantastic!
The Seven Doors – by Agnes Ravatn // A Song Of Isolation – by Michael J. Malone // Dead Wrong – by Noelle Holten
4 STARS: Wow, this was really good. Close to amazing!
The 24-Hour Café – by Libby Page // The Wife – by Shalini Boland // Knock Knock – by Chris Merritt // Who’s Next? – by Chris Merritt // Flowers For The Dead – by Barbara Copperthwaite // The Coast-To-Coast Murders – by James Patterson & J.D. Barker
3.5 STARS: Great read. Really entertaining!
The Orphan Of Cemetery Hill – by Hester Fox // Confessions On The 7:45 – by Lisa Unger // A Heart So Fierce And Broken – by Brigid Kemmerer
3 STARS: It was a nice read, but not fantastic.
Remember Me – by Mario Escobar
2 STARS: It was ok. But mostly ‘meh’.
Love Among The Recipes – by Carol M. Cram // A Boy And His Dog At The End Of The World – by C.A. Fletcher
I’ve decided to only join a limited amount of 2020 to focus more on the joy of reading without obligations again… And it seems I’ve been completing most of them without even trying. xD

Thanks! I’m super excited we finally have our own little plot of land to make our own… It will be a few years before we’re able to finish building a house and move in though. xD

I can’t wrap my head around the fact that the holidays are right around the corner too. This year has seemed to fly by even with all the craziness that’s been going on throughout. That’s so exciting about being able to build your own home in a few years! 😀
Amazing reading 18 books! Glad you’re back to reading your usual amount of books. 🙂 I hope you’re having a great October so far. ❤

In a way it’s strange this year is flying by as each day seems to be the same with the whole lock down situation since March… But the other day we were talking that in basically two months the Christmas tree will be up and I was like WHATTT?!?! Working on our new plot will be a great distraction though. I hope October will treat you well! ❤
