I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that it is December already, and that in less than 30 days this year will be officially over. Where did the time go?! Not that I’m not glad to see the end of 2020, but it’s just that I’m worried what new tricks 2021 will bring. November was not only the bringer of bad news, but also marked the early arrival of Summer and a new flare up of an extremely itchy rash all over my body that is related to my allegedly? sun allergy. Fun times! 😦 At least I had another fantastic buddy read with Nicki to distract myself, and of course I had to bake my favorite cookie recipe in tradition.
Next: the bookish numbers.
- Number of books read in November: 25
- Total number of books read in 2020: 233
- Total number of pages read in November: 8.912
- Total number of pages read in 2020: 79.715
My reading mojo is here to stay apparently, as I once again managed to read a LOT during November. I was also lucky with my reading choices, with TWO new 5 star reads, seven further nearly perfect ratings and only three books below 3 stars! True, I did get a new DNF, but overall I’m really happy with these results. The blogging slump is still very much there, but at least I’m able to read so that’s something I guess. xD

As for my other goals… My ARC/backlist ratio finally went down a bit, but I calculated and it’s basically impossible to reach my goal of 40% as I need to read over 50 books to do that. So I guess that goal will be hanging out with the TBR and 800 pages goal in an ‘unfinished goal’ party this year… xD Completing the series goal should be easy as it only requires me to read two more books, but I’m a bit worried about the TBR jar pick goal as there are still three titles left. Looks like I won’t be smashing my goals all that well this year in the end haha.
