It’s my birthday today!! And what better way to celebrate than to look back at last month’s favorite books?

I had originally decided to include this new feature in my monthly wrap ups, but I just felt there were too many facts squeezed into one little post and the whole purpose of putting my favorite reads in the spotlight was lost. So this is me giving those favorites their well deserved extra attention! I was once again lucky with my reading choices in February and managed to enjoy the majority. There were a few that stood out above the rest, but two of these titles managed to blow me away completely and became new all time favorites. As you might already guess, deciding which of the two would be my absolute favorite of the month was an impossible task, but somehow I managed to do so… Can you guess which one? Without further delay, February’s favorite is… *drumroll*

The Songbook Of Benny Lament by Amy Harmon!! I know I’m biased when it comes to her work and I seem to love anything she writes, but this newest story is so SO powerful and hands down one of my absolute favorites of hers.

“There is no way you can make me pick a favorite between her books, but what I can say is that The Songbook Of Benny Lament is among her best! Absolutely stunning and breathtakingly good.”

The Songbook Of Benny Lament offers a rich and multi-faced historical romance story that will manage to win over your heart in record time. Oh yes, Amy Harmon has done it again and delivered us another mindblowingly good story that will stay with me for a long long time.”

The House In The Cerulean Sea was my second new all time favorite of February and such a stunning read… The other three titles were brilliant as well and I love that all five of the titles in this spotlight post actually belong to completely different genres! In the order I’ve read them:
