Stacking The Shelves is hosted at Tynga’s Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Soooo… What has been the ARC damage since my last STS post two weeks ago? I’ve been trying to stay away from Netgalley as I’m hoping to get my pending ARC pile below 10 titles again… I’m getting close to that magical single digit number, but of course I couldn’t stay away from that request button completely. xD I simply couldn’t resist getting a copy of Tears Of Amber as I LOVED her The Murmur Of Bees. I’m excited to read it next week! I also couldn’t resist requesting September ARC The Library as I love books with bookish elements as well as books with an older main character.
I also couldn’t resist signing up for two Canelo thriller blog tours as I really liked the sound of the blurbs and my June and July ARC schedule is pretty quiet (or so far at least haha).

I’m really looking forward to that one! I might just cave in and read it next month even though it’s not due until September.

I have been humming and hawing about Tears of Amber, I will be interested to hear what you think of it, Yvo.

I can definitely recommend Tears Of Amber! I still prefer her The Murmur Of Bees, but this was an excellent WWII fiction story. It reads more like a family saga and can be slow in points, but the descriptions, character development and writing are wonderful.
