Wait, what? It’s All About Books joining in on the 20 Books Of Summer fun even though in Argentina it’s winter right now?! Well yes, I just couldn’t resist joining the challenge again as I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to both read more backlist titles as well as maybe forget about the cold months for a bit… The 20 Books of Summer Challenge is hosted by Cath and runs between June 1st and September 1st. The aim is to read and review either 10, 15 or 20 books, and of course I will be going for the full amount as I like to torture myself. xD
I’ve decided to make a monthly progress report post as it’s easier to keep up with the titles I’ve read that way… I’m hoping to read at least the majority of the books on my original TBR, but I’ve decided to also add all other non-ARC titles to this list in the mean time. The books with a # symbol were actually on my original TBR and will be mentioned first, while any other titles will be mentioned at the end of this post and listed in cursive.
10/20 books read and reviewed
6 on original TBR // 4 other titles

You’re doing well! You might have to make it 30 Books of Summer… 😀

Haha I’m not sure about that with the ARCs I still have due… I’ve been terrible sticking with my original TBR so I might just end up having to swap multiple titles.

Looks good Yvo! I’ve just finished my 6th book this morning, but need to write a load of reviews! xx

That’s great! I’m at 6 too if I decided to stick with my original TBR… The only way I’m up to date with my reviews is because I’ve been using shorty reviews for all of them. 😉

Only if I count the books that weren’t on my original TBR haha. I’m trying to stick to the original books, but I’m not sure if I can actually read all of them as there are other books I want to read first now. Being a mood reader can be a curse. xD

LOL! Well, mood reading usually tends to make me a happier reader, though!

Yes me too! I can’t wait for it to be August so I can spend the whole month just reading whatever I want.

Excellent progress on your challenge. I haven’t read any of these yet, but there are quite a few I would like to read. Especially The Beekeeper of Allepo and People we meet on vacation.

I can recommend both! The first is very powerful and the second fun to read despite a few parts that drag a little.
