WWW WEDNESDAYS is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words and is all about answering the three questions below.

I’m currently reading The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren, and I’m definitely curious to see how I will react to this one since people seem to be having mixed reactions. I’ve also (finally!) picked up my physical copy of The Lost Man by Jane Harper. I love her writing so I have high hopes for this one.

1. Darkness Falls by Robert Bryndza (4/5 stars) REVIEW 30/11
I’ve been a fan of Robert Bryndza‘s thrillers ever since I first met detective Erika Foster back in 2016, and I’ve read every single thriller book he published since. His newest series featuring Kate Marshall is quickly becoming a new favorite; Darkness Falls is already book number three… And without doubt another solid sequel that is both highly addictive, suspenseful and a thrilling ride. Oh yes, it’s time to clear your schedule again before picking up this one!

2. If This Gets Out by Sophie Gonzales & Cale Dietrich (4/5 stars) REVIEW 26/11
I know that I’ve been slacking with my YA reads in recent years, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t enjoy them and there was just something about the premise of If This Gets Out that intrigued me instantly. Add that I’ve enjoyed Sophie Gonzales’ writing in the past and I was more than curious to see what this author duo would come up with. And I most definitely liked what I found! If This Gets Out turned out to be an entertaining and adorable MM romance story with just the right amount of angst and an interesting balance between lighter moments and heavier topics.

3. The Hound Of The Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle (3,5/5 stars) REVIEW 05/09
I’m slowly making my way through the Sherlock Holmes books and as I wasn’t in the mood for an anthology I decided to skip ahead to one of his (probably) most famous stories: The Hound Of The Baskervilles. I confess that I already knew how the story would unfold, but I still enjoyed my time with this story. I think this has been one of my favorites of the series so far.

4. Dead Souls by Angela Marsons (4,5/5 stars) REVIEW 05/09
I’m really enjoying this detective series so far and book number six is no exception. Dark, twisted, action-packed and a temporary split team this time around… I missed them working all together, but I soon warmed up to the new dynamics especially once things started to get really intense. I definitely can’t wait to read the next one soon!

Next up is Dead Ground by M.W. Craven without fail as I’m dying to meet up with favorite character duo Tilly and Poe again… I feel another 5 star rating coming up! Afterwards it’s another dose of romance with The Happy Ever After Playlist by Abby Jimenez and a modern classic I’ve somehow never read before: Strangers On A Train by Patricia Highsmith. Then it’s finally time for my TBR jar pick Red Winter by Dan Smith
