WWW WEDNESDAYS is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words and is all about answering the three questions below.

So… I thought that taking a break last month was going to help me get rid of the blogging slump for good, but I guess I was wrong about that. Oh yes, I’m still very much feeling that slump, and even my reading seems to be affected now… Sorry if I haven’t responded to your comment/visited that often since I was supposed to be back from my break; that’s 100% the slump talking. The same goes for social media too sadly. :-/

I’m currently reading TBR jar pick The Humans by Matt Haig, which I’m absolutely loving so far and I’m not sure why it’s taking me so long to read it (I’ve been busy with DIY too, but it’s most likely mainly the slump). I’m also starting The Mistletoe Pact by Jo Lovett just so that I can keep my pile of pending ARCs to the bare minimum.

1. The Summer Seekers by Sarah Morgan (3,5/5 stars) REVIEW 25/09
I love a good road trip story and I love stories with an older main character, so The Summer Seekers sounded like a perfect match. I’ve been looking forward to read it, and what better way to forget about the dreary winter weather than reading a fun summer read? And while it wasn’t exactly the hilarious romcom I was expecting it to be, I still mostly enjoyed my time with The Summer Seekers.

2. Faithless by Karin Slaughter (3/5 stars) REVIEW 25/09
Grant County book number five, and I’m definitely more than ready to see the back of Lena now. Faithless is by far my least favorite of the series, and I’m really starting to struggle with having to deal with Lena all the time… I wasn’t really feeling the whole drama with Sara and Jeffrey either, and I’m never a fan of a religious angle in the first place. Fingers crossed the final book will be able to blow me away again though!

Next up are most anticipated releases The Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix and Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid as I can’t resist them any longer… Afterwards it’s time for another dose of DI Kim Stone with Dying Truth by Angela Marsons; I’m not sure if I can actually catch up before the next book comes out, but I hope to at least reach the double numbers in the series before then.  Last but not least, I have a new TBR jar pick: Grown by Tiffany D. Jackson. I’ve heard good things about this one, so I will be looking forward to read it.
