Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Marlene @ Reading Reality and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

It’s my birthday!! And what better way to celebrate than talk about my newest ARC additions on my kindle?! ❤

Soooo… What has been the ARC damage since my last STS post three weeks ago? I’ve been trying to reign myself in because I don’t want my ARC situation to spin out of control, but I always have a hard time saying no to stories with a bookish element. I loved the sound of The House Of Marvellous Books with the focus on a publishing house, and I will be looking forward to it. And I simply HAD to get a copy of Steph Broadribb’s newest series featuring retired detectives; I LOVE her Lori Anderson books, but sadly her newest series ended up being a dud for me. Anyhow… I also couldn’t resist requesting Catherine Drake’s debut because I really liked the sound of the blurb.

Afterwards, I saw Sue Moorcroft had a new title coming out, and because I recently enjoyed one of her books I ended up requesting a copy. And of course I had to get a copy of the newest Josie Quinn, one of my favorite detective series, as well, and of course I once again loved my time with the series. After that, against expectations my request for the newest C.L. Taylor was actually approved!

But that was not all, because I also couldn’t resist requesting a copy of The Hiker because I love a crime thriller with a nature element. And last but not least: Thomas & Mercer uploaded a bunch of thriller Read Nows a few days ago and I felt quite restrained as I only got five of them (who am I kidding, I totally went wild with that Read Now button. xD)
