I wasn’t going to join the challenge this year, because I was supposed to be focusing on my own books and I actually started the year with that mythical empty Netgalley shelf. I should have know that wouldn’t last for long, and after requesting a huge pile of ARCs I decided to just give in and join the challenge for the sixth year in a row. This yearly challenge is currently hosted at Socrates’ Book Reviews; I’m not sure if I will actually be posting my reviews there though because I tend to forget…
GOAL: I’ll be aiming for GOLD – 50 books.
The list below is a list of ALL the ARCs I’ve been able to read in 2022. This includes other ARCs that won’t count for the Netgalley And Edelweiss challenge; those are marked in orange while the Netgalley ARCs are marked in green.

In a way I’m not sure I’m too happy with that, because it means I requested way more ARCs that I promised myself I would. xD

You’re doing great. I’m just amazed that your NetGalley shelf was at 0 at the beginning of the year!

You are not the only one haha! It’s mostly because I was on a break during December-January and cleaned out my NG shelf just before that… As soon as I got back to blogging my ARC shelf exploded again. 😉

Oh wow! This is a lot. This seems like a great way to keep track of them. I need to keep this in mind for next year.

It’s definitely not the ‘2022 without too many ARCs’ I was promising myself when the year started haha. I actually already have enough pending titles to reach the goal with 2 to spare. xD

Oh a lot of great reads with four stars and I even spotted two five star reads! I must give Kate Quinn a try!

Oh yes! I’m having a feeling you would like her books; she is SO good at writing historical fiction. The Huntress is my absolute favorite so far, but I loved The Diamond Eye and The Rose Code too. xx

You are doing really well. I probably read 70% Netgalley books, many backlist, so I am impressed you keep your shelf so under control. My ratio is only 64% so I have lots to catch up on.

It took me a long time to get to this point, trust me. 😉 I only have a 96% ratio because I’ve reviewed over 500 books since I signed up… I’m currently at 565 approved and 541 feedback sent. A lot of books are not available in my country, so I guess that helps too.

If I don’t request any new books, and only read NG and EW books, I estimate that I will be at 100% in 6.5 years. Probably not going to happen. 😁

Yikes! And that is with you being a fast reader too… At least your ratio isn’t too low to prevent you from getting the ARCs you want.
