Wait, what? It’s All About Books joining in on the 20 Books Of Summer fun even though in Argentina it’s almost Winter right now?! Well yes, I just couldn’t resist joining the challenge again as I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to both read more backlist titles as well as maybe forget about the upcoming cold Winter months for a bit… The 20 Books of Summer Challenge is hosted by Cath and runs between June 1st and September 1st. The aim is to read and review either 10, 15 or 20 books, and of course I will be going for the full amount as I like to torture myself. xD
I’ve learned my lesson and I’m not going to make it more difficult this year by not allowing ARCs, although I’m going to try and make it to 20 books without them… We’ll see how things go I guess? The list below is made up entirely out of non-ARCs though: backlist titles belonging to a bunch of different genres with a few 2022 releases to spice things up… I will probably end up swapping some books later on though haha.
I’ve decided to put together a separate progress report post that will be posted at the end of each month.

From the ones I’ve read, I’d say go with Mimic. I’m probably joining too but I still don’t have a list 😂. Good luck!

I’ve been meaning to try one of his books! I have the Fawkes And Baxter books on my TBR too, but I thought it would be better to start with a stand-alone. And no worries, this list will be mutilated by the end of August haha. 😉

Ohhh, so many good looking books~ Finlay Donovan is on my TBR as well, though it will be a while because it is on my vacation TBR for August. XD Good luck with your 20 books, cannot wait to see the reviews~
20 books of Summer sounds fun, but I just don’t have that many books on my TBR. Also, I am a mood reader, even if I had 20 books I wouldn’t want set it in stone that I have to read them. I know that I will just be put off by the books. 😦

I hope we will both enjoy Finlay Donovan! One of the advantages of the 20 Books Of Summer challenge is that you can change your TBR as many times as you like during the challenge and there is also a goal for less books (10 or 15).

Hope we do indeed! It looks so good! Oh, that sounds perfect, I thought you really had to have those 20 books as I saw it was named 20 Books of Summer. Haha. And it is great to hear you can switch around. I currently just got a small TBR for my normal reading, but I could use my vacation TBR for this challenge as that has 10-13 books now. Thanks for letting me know.

The possibility to change your TBR is the main reason I joined, because I’m a mood reader too and I would never be able to stick to a fixed list. 😉 I like it when a reading challenge isn’t too strict and this one is mostly about having fun.

It was SO hard to narrow it down to only 20 as I have so many books I want to read ASAP haha. There will no doubt be many changes by the end of August. 😉 Thank you! ❤

I don’t want to oversell it but I read The Night Shift first and it’s my favourite out of the two 😊

I’m jealous that winter is approaching you since it’s unbearably hot here. Of these I’ve read Finlay Donovan and Only When It’s Us. I enjoyed both. I only recently read my first Swanson book, and I’m definitely wanting to read more. I hope you enjoy all of these!!

I know the feeling! I was exactly the same during the summer month down here. xD I’m excited to read both of them! And I tend to enjoy Swanson, although not every single one has been a hit. Which one did you read?

I’m excited to read all of those! Especially to read the first Bergman Brothers book; if I like the first, I might just continue the series soon after.

Thanks! I’m definitely excited to read both of those soon; if everything goes right, Falling will be my second book on this TBR I read (I’m starting The Island Home first).
