Wow, my September TBR was basically a total fail haha. It’s mostly because I spent part of the month playing catch up with the books I originally wanted to read in August, and I’ve also been struggling with a beginning reading and blogging slump. I still want to read the rest of these titles soon though, and some will reappear on my October TBR.
I have a bunch of ARCs I need to get soon, but the main focus of this TBR will still a celebration of Halloween month. You will find lots and lots of darker reads fitting the Halloween theme below!
# TBR #
- Hide by Kiersten White (240 pages)
- The Crooked Mask by Rachel Burge (204 pages)
- The Hacienda by Isabel Cañas (352 pages)
- The Library At Mount Char by Scott Hawkins (390 pages)
- The Girl Who Could Move Shit With Her Mind by Jackson Ford (497 pages)
- The Witch Hunter by Max Seeck (400 pages)
- UNSUB by Meg Gardiner (367 pages)
- Slow Dance In Purgatory by Amy Harmon (232 pages)
- A Nearly Normal Family by M.T. Edvardsson (400 pages)
- Cold As Hell by Lilja Sigurdardottir (276 pages)
- The Ghost Woods by C.J. Cooke (416 pages) NETGALLEY
- The Hiker by M.J. Ford (400 pages) NETGALLEY
- The Dark Room by Lisa Gray (288 pages) NETGALLEY
- Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six by Lisa Unger (400 pages) NETGALLEY

Have you read any of these and/or do you recommend them?

I’ve been meaning to read the UNSUB books for so long now! I’m still not sure why I haven’t because it’s one of my favorite series and people keep recommending the books.

Slumps are tough. I either have to read a favorite author or jump to a different genre than my regular. I hope you can get out of it. The Bodyguard was a fun read. Maybe that one would help.

It’s been tricky… It’s not a full slump as the motivation to read and blog comes and goes, but still. I’m kind of drowning in ARCs at the moment so it’s hard to squeeze in other books, but I’m reading an Heartstopper volume soon as well as another Amy Harmon book (Slow Dance In Purgatory). That and The Most Beautiful Girl In Cuba later this month of course!

You have a lot of wonderful books here. I like the sound of The Girl Who Could Move Shit With Her Mind.

I admit that I was intrigued by the title alone! The premise sounds like a lot of fun too, and I’ve been looking forward to it.

Quite a few of these are sitting on my tbr too. I’m hoping to read The Ghost Woods this month as it definitely sounds perfect for October. I have read Hide and liked it, there were just too many characters for me to love it. Hope you enjoy all of your reads

The Ghost Woods sounds like the perfect Halloween read! She is so good at setting the right gothic atmosphere, and I have high hopes for it. I’m really curious about Hide too, and especially because it’s been getting mixed reviews.

I always make a Halloween themed TBR for October… I never read them all, but it’s great to have a big selection to choose from. 😉
