Traveling has a special place in my heart; I love exploring new countries, cities and cultures both in real life and through the books I read. I know that already share a settings map in each The Numbers post, but I thought it was fun to take a closer look at the different bookish destinations I was able to travel to each month. Hence this monthly bookish post was born, Bookish Travel, where I will be sharing where the books I read that month took me.

November 2022 ended up being a solid travel month with not only multiple places in the UK and US (14 different states), but also nine further countries. Not bad at all! Below a map featuring the different bookish travel destinations. (I use this page for the map.)

Ready to take a closer look at where exactly I was able to travel to during November? They will appear in the order I’ve visited them (except for the UK/US because they have multiple titles).

1. UK

With these books I was able to travel to the following UK destinations: Berecombe (coast), Yorkshire, London, Scotland

2. US

With these books I was able to travel to the following US states: New Jersey, South Carolina, New York, Florida, Texas, California, Hawaii, Georgia, Washington, Arizona, South Dakota, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Alabama

3. GERMANY

Marked For Life also takes a short trip to Germany.

4. FRANCE

Reckless Girls makes a pitstop in Paris. Meet Me In Monaco is partly set in France.

5. ITALY

Reckless Girls makes a stop in Rome as well… The Witch Hunter is partly set in Venice.

6. AUSTRALIA

Reckless Girls is also set in Australia.

7. THAILAND

Last but not least, Reckless Girls ends in Thailand.

8. FINLAND

Nordic noir The Witch Hunter is mainly set in Finland.

9. SPAIN

Heartstopper Volume 4 makes a stop in Menorca.

10. THE NETHERLANDS

Angels Of The Resistance is set during WWII Haarlem.

11. MONACO

Like the title already suggests, Meet Me In Monaco is also set in Monaco.
