Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Marlene @ Reading Reality and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Soooo… What has been the ARC damage since my last STS post three weeks ago? I’m trying to stay away from Netgalley, because I have a huge amount of pending ARCs already… But guess what: it isn’t working. xD I’m so excited that my request for Cara Hunter’s stand-alone was actually approved though, and I can’t wait to read it. Afterwards, I was (against expectations to be honest) approved for the newest Harlan Coben, and I’m looking forward to read it because the blurb sounds fantastic. After that, I couldn’t resist requesting two Orenda Books copies because I tend to love their books… I’ve been meaning to try Michael Grothaus for ages and it was about time I read a story set in Japan again, so Beautiful Shining People was a no-brainer.

And while I don’t really read a lot of sci-fi, I do love Doug Johnstone’s writing… So I had to request The Space Between Us as well. That was not all, because I couldn’t resist requesting the newest Sarah Bennett because I enjoy the way she writes her romances. And I got an approval for Dead Of Winter as well… I do love a remote setting and locked room vibe, so I’m looking forward to read it.

I was also invited to join BookSirens, and I couldn’t resist joining the community even though I’m already drowning in ARCs. I decided to get a quick romance read so that I could have at least one review published on there… But after finishing and enjoying it, I couldn’t resist getting another one. Thankfully you can get only one title at a time until you review it, so at least my pending shelf will not explode there haha.

Last but not least, the long-awaited Philip Ye sequel is finally here, and the author was kind enough to send a copy so Nicki and me can do another buddy read. I’m SO excited to be reading this one! The first book was fantastic.
