#BeatTheBacklist Epic BTB Bingo: Final 14 TBR

As you may already know, I have signed up for the Beat The Backlist challenge as well as the Epic BTB Bingo card this year and so far things have been going way better than planned. In fact, I’m down to my final fourteen prompts to complete the full bingo card! I wasn’t expecting to reach this number this quick, but I guess it shows I have really been reading my backlist titles this year. Want to see my progress?

I already have a few line bingos, but I want to get the full bingo and with only 14 titles left and 7 months to read them, I don’t think that will be too much of a struggle. I’ve decided to make a TBR for the prompts that are left so I don’t have to go hunting for titles whenever I want to read another bingo title.  Find out what books I picked for my final 14 below!

FINAL 14 TBR

ROW 1

# BANNED BOOK: A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess
# ANTHOLOGY: Alles Is Breekbaar (Fragile Things) by Neil Gaiman

ROW 3

# GOODREADS CHOICE AWARDS WINNER: I’ll Be Gone In The Dark by Michelle McNamara
# BLURBED BY A FAVORITE AUTHOR: The Secret Diary Of Hendrik Groen by Hendrik Groen
# SET IN A PLACE YOU WANT TO VISIT: The Island by Victoria Hislop

ROW 4

# BOOK THAT MADE YOU LAUGH: We Are Never Meeting In Real Life by Samantha Irby

ROW 6

# CHARACTERS WHO ARE TWINS: Cut And Run by Mary Burton
# A BOOK YOU LEARNED ABOUT FROM BTB: Ivory And Bone by Julie Eshbaugh

ROW 7

# BOOK ABOUT FOOD: The Confectioner’s Guild by Claire Luana
# AMPERSAND (&) ON COVER/IN TITLE: The Rose & The Dagger by Renee Ahdieh

ROW 8

# COVER LOVE: The Problem With Forever by Jennifer L. Armentrout
# POPULAR AUTHOR’S FIRST BOOK: The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield

ROW 9

# PART OF A DUOLOGY: Muse Of Nightmares by Laini Taylor
# NEXT IN A SERIES YOU STARTED: Force Of Nature by Jane Harper

Have you read any of these titles and/or which of these do you think I should give priority to?

2019 Beat The Backlist: Epic BTB Bingo #BeatTheBacklist

As you may already know, I have signed up for the Beat The Backlist challenge again this year and so far things have been going great. I wasn’t going to because I’m trying to avoid the pressure, but the Epic BTB Bingo card was just too much temptation for me and I ended up giving in. So this will be the official BTB Bingo update post!

A little reminder: my goal is to read a total of 80 books published before 2019, with at least 30 of them published 2016 or before.

Aaaaand I’m on team RAVENCLAW this year!!

Let’s continue with the empty EPIC BTB BINGO card first… I’ll be updating the second bingo card at the end of each month with the titles I managed to read and you can find a full list of prompts and titles below that one.

Below the books I (will) read for each prompt! Books I have read and posted on the challenge page are in blue.

2019 Beat The Backlist: Official Update Post #BeatTheBacklist

I had a lot of fun with the previous Beat The Backlist challenges, so of course I signed up again. This challenge is hosted by Novelknight and in 2019 will be all about reading once more… No extra complications or extra points for reviews, just getting those backlist titles read and earning brownie points for that. This challenge is all about reading all those poor neglected books on your shelves instead of just new releases. We all love our new releases, but those older books deserve our attention too right? 😉 Books have to be published before 2019 to count, and you can set your own goals as you see fit.

On to the official update post part… Where I will share the books I’ve read that fit the challenge. Books that fit in with my personal challenge are either orange for books published in 2018 or 2017 or green for books published before that.
