Oh yes, it’s now official… We are going on a month-long backpacking trip through (Northern) Europe! I’m over the moon to be country hopping again along with my favorite human being A.K.A. my hubby. ❤ ❤ ❤
NOTE: It does mean It’s All About Books will go on an Eurotrip hiatus from April 23rd to June 1st and I won’t be accepting new requests until after that date.
The departure day has finally almost arrived! Yay! Tomorrow my hubby, the green monster (my backpack) and I will be starting our six week backpacking adventure… I’m so excited!!! 😀 😀 😀
We will be taking a 22 hour bus ride to the Bolivian border and we will start traveling Bolivia from there… Tupiza, the Salt flats, La Paz, Copacabana, Potosi; I can’t wait to visit those places and more! We will most likely visit the Peruvian side of the Titicaca lake as well, although the idea is to get back to Argentina with loads of time left so we can visit the northern provinces (Salta, Jujuy) before we travel back home.
As you might guess, I won’t be having a lot of time to blog or read during my trip… Having crappy internet connection most of the time doesn’t really help either. 😉 So It’s All About Books will also be on vacation until November; I’ve no posts scheduled (I still have a few book reviews, tags and awards lined up, but I just couldn’t find time to finish them before I leave) and most likely I won’t be able to respond to comments until I’m back…
So I guess I see you guys when I’m back in November!!! ❤
Since I was able to schedule a few post before I left it didn’t really show, but I was actually out of the country during the last few days! I celebrated Easter Weekend in Uruguay with my hubby… A weekend spent camping and relaxing on the beach; not a bad way to end the summer! 😀
I didn’t have a lot of free time to read during the weekend, but I did manage to start Ruin And Rising, the third and last book in The Grisha trilogy the other day. So far so good, and I’m hoping on reading quite a few pages later tonight. I’ve also started A Tale Of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, although I decided to put it temporarily on hold since I’m not in the mood for a classic right now. Maybe next weekend…
I’m excited to see what this week will bring! Before I return to my kindle, I leave you with a few pics of Fray Bentos and the Las Cañas camp area… Such a lovely place!
Have a nice week and Happy Reading! 😀
Here in Argentina it is Summer time now, and the summer vacation has arrived! I will be going to the coast with my hubby tomorrow, to be back anywhere before the 27th. We’re going to a small island where it’s all about going back to nature and enjoying being outdoors, so no WIFI or computer close… Which means It’s All About Books is also going on vacation temporarily. 😀
Like Schwarzenegger once said: I’ll be back! With a Gone Girl book review I’ve just finished today and completely loved. Damn, that book messed with my head; so many plot twist bombs dropping down on me that I just couldn’t stop reading the second half of the book! I’ve also started Paper Towns today, which I will finish depending on the availability of electricity on the island… (It’s an ebook and I don’t know if I will be having power 24/7.) If not, I have some paperbacks lined up to be read as well! 😉
Happy reading and have a great week everyone!
