I had fun with this challenge last year, so I decided to join in again this year… This challenge is hosted by Andrea @ Carolina Book Nook.
The challenge runs from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. You can sign up any time, but only count books that you read between those dates.
# Read a book in any format (hard copy, ebook, audio) with a title that fits into each category.
# Don’t use the same book for more than one category.
#Creativity for matching the categories is not only allowed, it’s encouraged!
In 2024, choose 6 books that have titles that contain:
TBR
# DOUBLE LETTERS: Authentically, Izzy by Pepper Basham
# A NFL TEAM: Murder At The Dolphin Hotel by Helena Dixon
# A NATURAL DISASTER: The Snow Storm by Triona Walsh // To Catch A Storm by Mindy Mejia
# A VIRTUE: Long Road To Mercy by David Baldacci
# A SHAPE: The Shape Of Your Heart by Debbie Howells
# FOOTWEAR: Someone Else’s Shoes by Jojo Moyes
BOOKS READ FOR THE CHALLENGE
#1: January 5th 2024: FOOTWEAR: Break Your Glass Slippers by Amanda Lovelace
#2: January 13th 2024: DOUBLE LETTERS: In The Lives Of Puppets by T.J. Klune
#3: January 30th 2024: A VIRTUE: Long Road To Mercy by David Baldacci
#4: April 5th 2024: A SHAPE: The Library Of Borrowed Hearts by Lucy Gilmore

Did you join this challenge? What books would you pick for the prompts?

Oh I love this challenge a lot esp with it being only 6 books. That seems very doable. I’ll have to look into this. I haven’t done a challenge in so long.

One of the things I love about this challenge that it’s quite low key with only six books in a whole year… The prompts weren’t too difficult to find either.

I stumbled across the option last year… If you go to Reading Challenges, then click the Browse option in the right top corner, it will take you to the challenge page. Then in the right top corner again, there is a button that says Create New. The best part is that you can create both private and public challenges to fit whatever goals you want to achieve.

If created one for the audiobook challenge but , but don’t know how to add books to it. I feel a bit thick! 😂

Did you already save your challenge with the prompts and everything? There is an edit button to add/change prompts if you did… You can add books by clicking on the prompt and then type the title of the book; you can also go to the book page and on the right just under ‘view’ journal entries’ you will find the option to add a book to reading challenges.

Yes I did for the What’s In a Name Challenge, but the audiobook challenge its different because it doesn’t have any prompt. I might delete that one.

Ah yes, the challenges have to have prompts added for them to work… One of the reasons I didn’t make one for the Netgalley challenges as there is no fixed amount of books to read.

I love just how low key it is with a whole year to read six books… I had fun putting together a TBR for the prompts.
