Stacking The Shelves is hosted at Tynga’s Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Soooo… What has been the ARC damage since my last STS post three weeks ago? My ARC requests are still closed down as I want to take a break from ARCs, but of course I will never be able to ignore Netgalley completely… I always find it hard to resist a serial killer thriller, so while I decided to not join the blog tour this time around, I ended up snatching a copy of The Jigsaw Man on NG anyway. Afterwards, I was excited to be approved for Gardening Hacks, as I love gardening and I was curious to see if it would teach me new useful tricks for our countryside plot. And there was just no way I was going to be able to resist a new Mark Edwards title as I love his books.
Afterwards, I literally squealed when I saw the new Amy Harmon was a Read Now on Netgalley… One of my all time favorite authors and most anticipated titles of 2021, so of course I hit that button so hard I almost broke my finger. xD I read it straight away, so it doesn’t really count right? I was also approved for The Runaway Bride against expectations, and it sounds like a fun read.
I also couldn’t resist signing up for the blog tour of Her Dark Lies as I absolutely loved the sound of the blurb. I’ll be looking forward to read it! The same goes for the two April Orenda Books blog tours… Both titles sounded too good to resist.

You know it doesn’t count against your NetGalley diet if you get a read now by a favorite author, right😏
Enjoy!

Haha true that! And at least I’ve already read and reviewed it, so no real damage done. 😉

Thanks to Nicki and Jonetta saying Amy Harmon was a read now, I just grabbed it. There are some others on here I will read eventurally, like Mark Edwards. Enjoy all your new additions, Yvo.

I am starting to think there are layers of NetGalley. I cannot see the new Mark Edwards anywhere 😦 I grabbed the Amy Harmon title though I don’t know the author but really liked the sound of the blurb. Great haul, Yvo.

Have you checked netgalley.co.uk? Some titles are only available on there and you can use the same login information as on the regular NG website.
