Originally featured at Should Be Reading and now hosted by Sam at Taking On A World Of Words, WWW WEDNESDAYS is still about answering the following three questions:
- What are you currently reading?
I’ve started reading The 100 by Kass Morgan the other day for my Bookish Bingo challenge, but I was distracted by The Lunar Chronicles novellas and I didn’t make that much progress on it. I guess it ended up being a July read… I also couldn’t help myself and I’ve already read a few pages of Scarlet. I just have to know how the story continues!
- What did you recently finish reading?
I‘ve finished Cinder the other day and I absolutely loved it! This series by Marissa Meyer is brilliant and I need to read all books ASAP… I’ve already read the first three novellas as well (Glitches, The Little Android, The Queen’s Army). I managed to forget my kindle on my mini break, but I found a copy of Flux by Orson Scott Card browsing the hostel’s book exchange which I was able to finish before returning home. It’s actually a collection of seven short stories and quite good.
- What do you think you’ll read next?
My next TBR jar pick is still The Kings Of Cool by Don Winslow… Although I will probably end up reading The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey first if I don’t decided to continue The Lunar Chronicles after I finish Scarlet. That series has me hooked!
Have you watched the TV adaptation(s) of The 100? It’d be interesting to hear if you think the book is better (as is often the case!). Cinder does look really good, but I’m trying not to get sucking into another series for a little while – too addictive!

I haven’t seen the series yet myself, but I’ve actuall heard that the TV adaptation is better than the book… I’m only 15% into the story and it’s pretty good so far, but it’s too early to have a proper opinion.
Cinder is an awesome read, but I definitely understand why you would want to stay away from series. I have so many series I still need to finish myself…

Yay, you loved Cinder! I REALLY need to try that series. I’m glad to see you enjoyed it and are moving on to the next book. Gives me hope that I’ll like it, if I ever get to read it. Lol.

I’m addicted to The Lunar Chronicles now haha, it’s such a great read! No love triangle so far, an awesome main character, robots and cyborgs… And a not so typical Cinderella retelling. Definitely a series to keep in mind. 😉

I like how you pick from the jar and then decide on something else entirely – that’s the sort of thing I do! Thanks for visiting my Wednesday post.

Haha I guess that’s not the official idea of the TBR jar… But since I always end up reading the title anyway, I don’t mind a little rulebending. 😉

Glad you liked the Card stories. I’ve only read Ender’s Game but I really enjoyed that. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!

It was the first time I read his work, but I have other titles on my TBR. When I saw Flux at the book exchange, I just had to take the opportunity and get to know his work.

I’m in love with that series! I’ve read Cinder and the first three novellas in a row and I can’t wait to finish The 100 so I can continue Scarlet… And I will probably end up reading Cress and Fairest pretty soon as well. 😀

I’m so glad you enjoyed Cinder, and are currently enjoying Scarlet! I totally agree, the series is simply addictive! XD Hope you enjoy Cress & Fairest once you get to them. Never heard of The Kings of Cool (though it seems interesting!) but I did read The 5th Wave, and it was enjoyable. Hope you enjoy your books this week! ❤

I can’t stop reading The Lunar Chronicles! Especially with The 100 being quite a disappointment… I will most likely end up finishing the published books before the end of the month haha. I can’t wait to read The 5th Wave as well. Happy reading! ❤
