Somehow it’s April already, and March turned out to be a busy month that has simultaneously flown by. March was my birthday month, the hubby was on vacation during most of the month and we went away on a trip to the Córdoba province during the last week… Beautiful scenery, hiking and (socially distanced) visits to multiple towns along the way. ❤
Next: the bookish numbers.
- Number of books read in March: 16
- Total number of books read in 2021: 68
- Total number of pages read in March: 5.671
- Total number of pages read in 2021: 23.601
I didn’t read as much as in the previous months, but that didn’t really come as a surprise as March turned out to be busy. I’m actually surprised I was still able to read these 16 titles! And I managed to enjoy the majority, which is always a bonus.
MARCH 2021 READS
5 STARS: Absolutely and entirely mind blowing! I suggest you to pick up a copy now.

4.5 STARS: This one was almost perfect. Surely fantastic!
Moonrise – by Sarah Crossan // Dear Justyce – by Nic Stone

3.5 STARS: Great read. Really entertaining!
Three Hours – by Rosamund Lupton // When Life Gives You Lemons – by Fiona Gibson // Danger In Numbers – by Heather Graham
3 STARS: It was a nice read, but not fantastic.
George’s Marvelous Medicine – by Roald Dahl // Yes No Maybe So – by Becky Albertalli & Aisha Saeed
2.5 STARS: I give this one the benefit of the doubt. Nothing too exciting.
Mirrorland – by Carole Johnstone
I ended up joining more challenges than planned this year, but I’m hoping to finish most without too much effort… So far things are going way better than planned.

I’m very interested to see which book you’ll read in Dutch ;-). It looks like it was a great month for reading, lots of high scores! Happy reading in April!

Haha I don’t have that many options left to be honest, and no easy way to get new ones. 😉 I’m gravitating towards the Dutch translation of The Night Circus (which should be easier as I already know the story) or Het Laatste Offer by Simone Van Der Vlugt (I tried that one last year and couldn’t get into it, so we’ll see).

I love the photos! Looks so amazing there. I’m glad you were able to go on a little trip. I miss traveling so much. The hubby got his covid vaccine and I get my first shot Thursday and my second in May, so hopefully we’ll be able to do some safer traveling soon.
Even if you didn’t read as much as you have in previous months, 16 is still really awesome! And even better that you enjoyed the majority of them. ❤

We decided to just go for it and stay away from larger towns just in case… There is no vaccine in the near future for us as the government doesn’t really care down here, but thankfully at least everyone does take precautions with masks and disinfectants in the tourist towns and we took our own as well. It’s not traveling like before, but at least we got to enjoy the nature part of our trip.
