I joined this challenge in 2017 and 2018 and both years it turned out to be a big success. I managed to read no less than 108! NG ARCs last year and 16 other ARCs; way more than I planned and in a way I’m hoping I’ll be less successful in 2019. Why? I want to finally read more backlist titles as well… Let’s see if I can find a healthy balance in 2019. This yearly challenge is currently hosted at Reading Between The Pages.
I’ll be aiming for GOLD – 50 books.
The list below is a list of ALL the ARCs I’ve been able to read in 2019. This includes other ARCs that won’t count for the Netgalley And Edelweiss challenge; those are marked in orange while the Netgalley ARCs are marked in green.

I’m at ‘only’ 18 titles right now, and 11 are due before the end of March… Oops? xD

Thanks! I still have at least 11 pending before the end of March so there’s a lot of ARC reading left. xD

That’s quite a few! I am so excited to get back into NetGalley. I did a lot with them years ago, but only just signed back up since I’m able to blog more regularly now. Posted my first NetGalley review last week and just got approved for two others! Exciting!
Good luck with your goal!

That’s great! Netgalley can be tricky if you request too much, but also very satisfying. Even after two and a half years I’m still requesting way too much haha. Good luck with your ARCs!

So glad you are once again joining in! You did fantastic last year!
Good luck with your goal this year and I hope you also get in some more backlist titles. I hope to do the same 🙂

The great thing about this challenge that you can pick your own goal depending on your reading habits. 🙂

You read 108 ARCs last year?!?! Dear lord! You go girl. I’ve been working through 75 since 2016 lol Kudos to you for being a ARC bad ass 🙂
I think it is great you are going to focus more on backlist titles this year and not so many ARCs. Good luck!

That amount of ARCs does mean I’ve been seriously neglecting my backlist titles… 😉 I’m hoping to not reaching the same number in 2019 haha. The whole keeping my ARC/backlist ratio below 40% promise does seem to help though.
